The Usk Community Hub will hold its Christmas Fayre on Saturday 1st December from 10am to 3pm.

Eighteen market stalls will sell locally crafted gifts, cakes, bakes, jams and preserves, and much more. Refreshments including tea, coffee and mince pies will be available and Father Christmas will make an appearance from 11am to 1pm.  In addition, an amazing colourful quilt, Christmas stocking and a beautifully embroidered towel handcrafted by staff from the council’s social services team will be on display and those attending will be offered raffle tickets for a chance of winning the three items. The winners will be announced on December 13th and funds raised will provide looked-after children and care leavers with gifts this Christmas.

Councillor Paul Jordan, Monmouthshire’s cabinet member with responsibility for the county’s community hubs said: “Usk’s Christmas Fayre is just one example of how the council’s five hubs can bring people together and support local community activity.”

Usk Community Hub is based at 35 Maryport Street where there are two car parks nearby.
