IN Division One's match of the day, a high flying Usk Town welcomed joint league leaders to the 'Island' and thrashed them to the tune of 7-3.
Initially Usk took the lead through Kirk Morgan on the 15 minute mark, but Usk soon stripped them of their slender advantage and went 3-1 up courtesy of a hat-trick from Dave Egerton who scored in the 20th, 25th and 35th minute.
Into the second-half and and Usk extended their lead to 5-1 in the wake of goals by Joe Henry and Grant O Connel.
Kirk Morgan pulled one back for Pandy from the penalty spot to give them the faintest glimmer of hope, but two more Usk goals via Rod Williams and substitute George Ashworth put the game firmly in the home team's hands.
Pandy did manage to claw one back through a 30 yard strike from Shaun Moss, but the result was never going to end in their favour.
Man of the match for Usk Town was Dave Egerton.
Man of the match for Pandy was Chris Lambert.
Usk now lead Division One by three points and Pandy sit in second place.
Llanarth keep third position following their 5-3 win over Llanfoist.
Man of the match Dan Wheeler scored a hat-trick for Llanarth and Peter Maddocks and Gavin Phillips chipped in with one apiece.
Llanfoist's strikes came from Adam Barber, man of the match Michael Davies and Andy Slater.
Govilon recorded a 3-3 draw over local rivals Gilwern and District.
Ben Marshall put Govilon 1-0 up after 20 minutes, before Gilwern drew level in the second-half through Adam Carrington. 60 minutes in and Jake Geckles put Govilon noses back in front, before Gilwern once again bounced back, this time through David Thomas. Gilwern then went to take the lead in the 75th minute after Kieran Shevlin netted, but in keeping with the spirit of the game, Stuart Norman popped up to level things for Govilon, 3-3, and that's the way it remained to the final whistle.
Man of the match for Govilon was David Barry.
Man of the match for Gilwern was Adam Carrington.
Crickhowell visited Fairfield and were held to a 1-1 draw. Their sole goal came from Huw Morgan in the first half. Man of the match for Crickhowell was Owain Jones.
Prescoed retain their five point lead at the top of division two after beating Usk Town 'B' 5-0.
Prescoed's strikes came from Luke Pearson (2), Liam Driscoll, Luke Mills and Darren Hill.
Man of the match for Prescoed was Luke Mills.
Man of the match for Usk was Martyn Latham.
Finally, Pandy 'B' got their first win of the season with a 4-1 win over Race, with goals from Shaun Cheal, Ashley Morgan, Jemie Peters and Jakey Wright.
