WHEN Tour de France winner, Geraint Thomas, took his lap of honour through the streets of the capital last week there were a couple of Abergavenny faces to keep him company.

Two members of Abergavenny Road Club, Madden Osborne and Emyr Truelove flew the flag for Monmouthshire as part of the young people’s peleton, riding up St Mary Street with Geraint to Cardiff Castle where a huge crowd awaited.
