CRICKHOWELL RFC were recently honoured by the guest appearance of former Wales and British Lion Centre Steve Fenwick at their annual presentation dinner and dance.

After dinner the audience were entertained by the 'old Lion' with stories and anecdotes from his rugby playing days with Bridgend, Wales and the British Lions.
Club chairman Alun Tandy also addressed the audience praising the efforts of the players throughout this season and thanking all those who supported the club.
A special thank you went out to Barry Sandilands of Coors Brewery for sponsoring the dinner.
Mr Tandy also made a special mention of the Mini and Junior teams, singling out Andy Thomas and Dean Williams for all their help.
James Aylett and James Ralph received chairman's awards for their coaching of the mini and junior section.
Other awards went to James Webb for Players Player of the season, Mark Jones for Clubman of the Year, Tom Powell for forward of the season, James Ralph for back of the season, Joe Powell for young player of the season, Guy Solomon for most improved player of the season and David McCarthy who won the Captain's award for his outstanding work rate.
