THE A467 at Brynmawr is closed after a man jumped from a footbridge over the road at around 3pm.

A Gwent Police spokeswoman said: "It is not believed that the man was with anyone at the time of the incident.

"The road is currently closed while the emergency services and the air ambulance are in attendance."

The A467 is closed between the Brynmawr roundabout and West Side in Blaina.
