Some rail services from Abergavenny have been cancelled today due to ‘extreme weather’.

Temperatures will soar well above 30 degrees celsius over the next few days as passengers are warned to check before they travel as further disruption is likely to impact journey times on some services.

While most trains from Abergavenny are currently running to time, some services have been cancelled due to what the operator, Transport for Wales (TfW) has called ‘extreme weather.’

The services cancelled so far include:

3.01pm to Cardiff Central

4.59pm to Cardiff Central

5.26pm to Manchester Piccadilly

6.05pm to Holyhead

7.02pm to Cardiff Central

7.32pm to Holyhead
