Monmouth Labour Party will field candidates in all seats at May council elections

At a recent packed Monmouthshire Labour Party training meeting in Raglan, the chair announced that the party will field candidates in every Monmouthshire County Council seat at the council elections in May Party chair Peter Marsh-Jenks noted that, for the first time in history, Labour members will be standing in all 43 seats.

He added,“From now on there are no free rides for the Tories in Monmouthshire. If they want seats, they will have to fight for them. Our local party has more members, more resources and more determination than ever before. We are organising training and have a robust campaign strategy so we are confident of making considerable gains in the May elections”.
