A pedestrian killed in a collision involving two vehicles on the A465 near Abergavenny has been named by Gwent Police.

Mark Anthony Francis, 46, from Blaina, died at the scene on Wednesday evening between the A465 Abergavenny turn-off and the Hardwick roundabout.

The two vehicles involved were a silver Ford Focus and a black VW Passat.

Gwent Police have appealed for anyone who may have seen Mr Francis on the road up to 19:00 .

WENT Police is appealing for information and witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision on Wednesday, March 13.

The collision involved a pedestrian and two vehicles, a silver Ford Focus and a black VW Passat. The incident occurred at around 7pm on the A465 between the Abergavenny turn off and the Hardwick roundabout.

Officers are particularly interested in speaking to anyone who may have seen a lone man, wearing dark clothing, walking in the A465 carriageway leading up to 7pm on Wednesday.
