Police are appealing for information after a burglary at a Brynmawr church where the items stolen included CCTV equipment, an engraved watch and a chainsaw.

The break-in happened at Ogof Dyn Church sometime between 7.45am on Thursday March 16 and 4am on Friday March 17.

In addition to a black CCTV hard drive, a Tissot stainless steel men’s watch engraved on the back with ‘My love for you is timeless’ and a Husqvarna 353 orange chainsaw the thieves also made off with a silver iPad in a dark grey flip case, a black Ledlenser head torch with a black and white head band and an Evolution Compound Mitre saw.

“We can’t be sure at this stage what time the burglary took place but we have information that three men were seen at the back of the church at around 4am on Friday March 17,” said a policed spokesperson.
