Drivers in the Abergavenny area are being warned of a temporary road closure near Pandy later this month.

Monmouthshire County Council has announced plans to shut part of the R2 from Oldcastle to Longtown on May 21 to allow essential poling works to be carried out safely

The closure will affect a stretch of road approximately 1.10km in length, around 1.90km from its junction with Walterstone.

Work is expected to take place between 9.30am and 3.30pm, with the road reopening the same day once the works are completed.
