There’s a new Tuesday only bus service covering the rural route between St Weonards and Abergavenny.
It’s not just a bonus for people living in the area but also for visitors wishing to visit Skenfrith, Grosmont and White Castles or to walk over the Skirrid and catch the Stagecoach service X3 back to Abergavenny.
There has not been a scheduled bus service on this route for many years.
English and Welsh concessionary passes can be used but the service is just for a trial period and readers are urged to ‘use it or lose it’.The bus picks up at Skenfrith at 9.42am, Grosmont 9.53am, Cross Ash 10.07am, Llanvetherine 10.14am and Llanthewy 10.20am, arriving at Abergavenny at 10.29 and departing at 1.15pm.
