THE stage was set, the lights were dimmed, and the Abergavenny Chronicle was graced with the presence of a mystery editor this morning, who took to his new role like a duck to water.

Hammering out the stories in true rock n’ roll fashion, the man in the hot seat took a king’s approach to the work in hand.

Any obstacle was met with a defiant sneer and anything asked of him was met with a simple “Uh Huh!”

Although the reporters in the newsroom were somewhat put out when the special guest snarled, “A little less conversation and a little more action please fellas.”

The man of the moment has since left the building but can you guess which local personality he was?
