UPDATE

Police are appealing for witnesses to a fatal road crash near the Clytha Arms pub on Saturday evening.

The collision, between a blue Honda motorcycle and a Range Rover, happened at around 7.30pm.

A 30-year-old man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. He can now be named as John Grant from the Bristol area. Specifically trained officers are supporting his family.

A 60-year-old male from Monmouthshire was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He is currently on police bail until September 26.
