Abergavenny Community Learning students along with their tutor Emma Rhydderch Price celebrated the end of their academic year with a memorable art exhibition.

Family, friends and staff joined the local Mayor and Mayoress, Councillors Chris and Sheila Woodhouse to view the work.

The Mayor and Mayoress then chose their favourite three pieces which they felt best illustrated their creators’ ambition, dedication and love of art.

Visitors comments included ‘great exhibition’, ‘work was a very high standard’, ‘variety, materials and subjects, very impressive’.

The next event will take place at Abergavenny Community Learning Centre, Old Hereford Road on Monday June 27, during adult learners’ week, with free taster sessions from art, pottery, languages and much more.
