IT’S likely to be a case of ‘Sweet Home Abergavenny’ when Jake and Elwood Blues haul up at the Borough Theatre tonight- after dark and wearing sun glasses!

The trilby-wearing duo, alias Matt Lane and James Clement, will be pounding out the hits of the ultimate feel good music movie of the eighties in aid of ‘A4B - Acting-4-the-Borough’.

All proceeds from the show will be going to the Borough Theatre to sustain and perpetuate what Matt describes as, ‘One of Abergavenny’s greatest assets.’

‘It’s a full show with all the hits of the movie and plenty more besides,’ Matt told The Chronicle, adding, ‘Tickets are selling fast and it would be great to see lots of audience participation to add to the fun.’

The Brothers of Blues show is at the Borough Theatre tonight (Thursday) at 7.30pm. Tickets are £12.50 (£11.50 concessions).
