THE MAIN event at this weekend's Longtown Show has been cancelled due to the recent poor weather.
There is, however, one survivor from the intended schedule, the programme for the produce tent will now take place in Longtown Village Hall, Saturday, August 16. Doors will be open at 9am. Entries are required by 11am.
The show, which was to have taken place this Saturday, August 16 at Llanwonog Farm, Longtown, has been drastically cut due to the intended site and surrounding area being completely waterlogged.
A spokesman said, "The Longtown Show committee wish to apologise to all those who intended to come to the main event, we determined and defiant that something of the show will proceed as planned."
