IN the only game to be played in the Premier Division a top of the table Llanarth welcomed a rock bottom Llanfoist to their ground and proceeded to wipe the floor with them to the tune of 15-0.

The unrelenting Llanarth goal machine netted through Daniel Wheeler who scored an impressive seven strikes to his name, whilst Paul Detheridge and Colin Morgan bagged a brace apiece and Jamie Edwards, Michael Morgan, Steve Morgan and Carwen Tranter all chipped in with solo efforts.

Man of the match for Llanarth was Daniel Wheeler. Man of the match for Llanfoist was Ben Marshall.

As a consequence of Saturday's result, Llanarth increase their lead at the top to five points in front of second-placed side Raglan who have a game in hand.

Llanfoist stay in eighth position.

Meanwhile, in round two of the Open Cup, newcomers Crickhowell welcomed Clydach 'B' to the 'Elvicta' and pounded them 7-0 after Alun Jones (3), Rob Young (2), John Jones and Huw Morgans all did the necessary.

Elsewhere in the cup, Raglan gave too much room to New Inn who maneuvered a narrow 2-3 victory over the home-side.

Both Raglan goals were scored by Eddie Murphy.

Division One outfit Govilon beat Premier boys Usk Town 4-1, after Matthew Heritage, Danny Marfell and Lewis Meadows all did the damage.

Usk's consolation goal came from the boots of George Ashworth.

Pandy were just inched out of their cup tie by a Pontypool Town 'A' side who won 5-4.

Going into the second-half nursing a 1-0 deficit, Pandy stepped up to the plate as the sibling strike force of Kirk and Chris Morgan put their team 1-2 in front. Ponty dragged themselves right back into contention to make it 3-2, only for David Lambert to put Pandy level and take the game to extra time.

In the 100th minute Kirk Morgan scored his second to give Pandy the momentum, but before the clock ran down Ponty had bounced back to put two past the visitors and seize the day.

In Division One Blaenavon Blues maintained their winning ways with a 7-1 home win over Race.

Strikes for the Blues came thick and fast from the likes of Marc Browning (2), James Camidge (2), Matthew Cox, Craig Harris and man of the match Steve White.

Clydach Wasps were taken out of the equation 4-1 when they played Pilcs. The Wasps strike came from Simon Tippins and man of the match was Rob McKenzie.

Mardy stormed to a 3-1 home win over Sebastopol with a brace from Matthew Lynch and a solo effort from man of the match Steve Hollingworth.
