CURRENT Gwent Central Premier Division leaders Llanarth visited Usk on the 'Island' and came unstuck in a big way as the home team sent them packing 6-2.

In a fast and furious first-half, Usk Town established a 4-2 lead through a brace by David Glencross and one apiece from George Ashworth and Will Barton. Llanarth's two goals came from Steve Morgan and Colin Morgan.

In the final half hour, Usk Town stepped it up a gear and put Llanarth out of their misery, with David Glencross completing his hat-trick and George Ashworth bagging his brace.

Man of the match for Usk was David Glencross.

Man of the match for Llanarth was Tommy Jones.

Llanarth stay top but their lead has been cut to one point.

Usk Town hold fifth position.

After being given time out to re-establish their side, Llanfoist fielded a full team and subs for their visit to Crickhowell, but unfortunately lost the match 3-1.

Crick led 1-0 at half-time thanks to a Chris Lusted goal in the 20th minute which was scored from a simple tap-in.

In the second-half Lusted scored his second and Alun Jones chipped in with one from the penalty spot.

Jason Bowen scored the Llanfosit goal.

Man of the match for Crickhowell was Rob Young.

Man of the match for Llanfoist was Darren Rudd.

Raglan welcomed Gilwern and District to their Station Road ground and Chris Simmons put Gilwern 0-1 in front with a goal scored with a 'flick-in' from a cross to give the visitors the lead going into the interval.

Carl Oxford put Raglan level with a goal scored ten minutes into the second-half, after rounding a Gilwern defender and keeper before slotting the ball home.

15 mintutes later Eddie Murphy pulled an amazing and super quick hat-trick out of the bag with goals scored in the 70th, 72nd, and 75th minute. Two strikes came via Murphy' boot and one came via his head.

Not to be disheartened Gilwern pulled a goal back through Mike Randell to make it 4-2, but Raglan soon pounced again in the 82nd minute when Kris Jordan slotted the ball under the Gilwern keeper.

Six minutes later Jordan claimed his second goal of the game and Raglan's sixth to tuck the game soundly up and put it well and truly to bed.

Man of the match for Raglan was Kris Jordan.

Man of the match for Gilwern was Craig Cooper.

There were no games played in Division One and the only game played in Division Two saw Clydach Wasps 'B' beat Blaenavon Blues 'B' 5-1.

The Wasps with the sting in their tail were Luke Welsh (2), Ben Ward, Jasper Morgan, and Matthew Edward.

Damian Heward scored the Blaenavon 'B' consolation goal.

Man of the match for Clydach 'B' was Dorian Reames.

Man of the match for Blaenavon Blues 'B' was Ashley Payne.
