THIS weekend's Jazz in the Park Festival at Pontypool has become the latest casualty of the weather.

The festival, which was due to begin today (Friday) was cancelled after the Afon Llwyd burst its banks leaving two of the marquees due to house bands, under four inches of water.

Staff from Torfaen Council are currently working to dismantle the two marquees before conditions deteriorate further.
