Gwent Police are appealing for help in finding a black cocker spaniel called Preeya, who was stolen from Gelligaer Dog Kennels by a man posing as her owner.

Police say they now know the identity of the man, who has since attended a voluntary interview - but they are still trying to locate Preeya.

They believe she was advertised within Pets for Homes as ‘free to a good home’ in July and may have been given to a man only known as Rob, possibly Robert, from the Brynmawr area during the month of September.
