GOYTRE ended a topsy turvy season in Welsh League Division Three with a 4-1 defeat at the hands of Llwydcoed.
After 34 games played, the Plough Road outfit have won 11, drawn nine, and lost 14.
They end the 2008/09 league campaign sitting in eleventh place on 42 points.
Not perhaps the best place to be, but at least they are safe from relegation and in with a fighting chance to make yet another claim for liberation from a division that seemingly refuses to relinquish its grip on them, when the new season commences later this year.
