Former Newport AFC boss Graham Rogers has taken a 18-strong squad consisting of players from the Gwent County League, although five are now playing their football in the higher-level MacWhirter Welsh League.
Gwent were first in action yesterday when they tackled Malta Amateurs at Rishon Lezion, and will face Southern Bohemia (Czech Republic) at the same venue tomorrow, before completing their Group Two campaign by meeting Maccabi Zur Shalom (Israel) at Nes Ziona on Sunday.
Rogers said before the trip, "It's certainly a trip into the unknown because we don't know anything about the teams will be facing, we really will be blind.
"However, we're going there to represent Wales and Gwent and we'll be giving it our best shot."
