A CHARITY designed to take elderly people on cycle rides in order to reduce isolation in the community is seeking people interested in launching their own local service.

Cycling Without Age matches cyclists with elderly people in their own communities in order to get them out and about and now the charity has set up a partnership with Crowdfunder to expand throughout the UK after a successful launch in Scotland.

The Crowdfunder.co.uk platform aims to the aid the fundraising of grass roots projects by inviting the local community to get behind them and pledge cash.

Cycling Without Age and Crowdfunder are now making a joint appeal to community groups across the UK to launch a Cycling Without Age initiative.
