MANY an Abergavenny pedestrian reported stumbling across a gang of tropical fish lurking on the pavement outside the Old Bank on the weekend.

Fortunately these exotic fellas came in peace and were happy to have their picture snapped for posterity.

So the Chronicle did just that before they faded back into the imagination of the artist who created them.

The artist in question being local man ‘Pete’.

The street scrawler can often be seen roaming the streets of Abergavenny on his trusty bike accompanied by his faithful dog.

Pete explained, “I don’t often create many of these pictures, but sometimes the mood just takes me and I get busy drawing.

And the pleasing thing is a lot of people appear to like them. So I guess I’ll keep on keeping on.”
