THREE young martial artists from Goytre Fawr Primary School used their feet and fists of fury to rise head and shoulders above the competition at the recent Colour Belts Tae Kwondo World Championships.
Eight-year-olds Taylor Davies and Elliot Ferrie, alongside ten-year-old Cameron Ferrie entered the event held at the Telford International Centre and returned with an impressive medal haul.
Taylor Davies won gold medals in the Individual Sparring and also in the Tag Team Sparring. Consequently he is now the Tae Kwondo U12 World Champion.
Elliot Ferrie won the Welsh Championships in Solo Sparring and got through to the quarter finals in the World Championships.
Cameron Ferrie won Gold in both the Welsh and Irish Championships for Solo Sparring and Bronze in the World Championships.
All in all a pretty impressive outing for the Goytre champs!
