THE owner of the Guest House in Abergavenny is appealing for help after her hand reared pet duck took flight on Saturday.

Daffy Duck was frightened by a helicopter on Saturday afternoon and quacked off.

Since then his worried owner Jenny Taylor hasn't seen or heard from him.

She said, "On Saturday the huge helicopter for the Warriors event, well done for that who ever organised it, hovered overhead and scared our animals and birds.  

"Please don't think I objected but the thing is that Daffy Duck, hand reared and taught to swim in the utility room sink, took fright and flew off! 

Kevin has spent days searching around the area but Daff is still missing."

"She was literally hatched here in the incubator, Kevin helped her out of the shell and hand reared her. She is so much a part of the family. Any help to locate her would be great."
