CRICKHOWELL Rotary Club are raising funds to fully equip the town’s War Memorial Health Centre with some brand new examination couches.

In recognition of the quality of service provided for the community by Crickhowell War Memorial Health Centre, and in keeping with one of Rotary’s objectives of applying funds raised locally for the benefit of the local community, the Club consulted with the Health Centre as to how Rotary might assist in further enhancing the service already provided.

It was decided that to equip each consulting room with an examination couch would greatly improve patient facilities and be of considerable assistance to medical practitioners in diagnosing and administering treatment for an increasingly elderly and frail local population.

This project will be uppermost in Rotary’s fundraising this year and should local residents wish to make direct donations to this project their contributions would be gratefully received by the Rotary Club of Crickhowell.
