Monmouthshire County Council is to hold a series of events to receive feedback that will inform and change the way it provides services for people living with dementia.

The Have Your Say on Dementia Day events are intended to gather information about the experiences of people with dementia, their carers, friends, families and the experiences of people working in the field.  Members of the public and professionals will be welcome to attend and an emphasis will be placed on creating new and innovative projects.

The events will be held on Wednesday December 5 at Mardy Park, Abergavenny between 10am to 12pm.

Councillor Penny Jones, Monmouthshire’s cabinet member for social care, safeguarding and health said: “The Have Your Say on Dementia Day events aim to be fun and interactive occasions allowing a wide range of people to express their thoughts and opinions.  We look forward to people helping us shape the future of our services to people living with dementia.”
