Monmouthshire County Council leader, Councillor Peter Fox was among those helping keep the council’s essential services on the road today.

Councillor Fox, who runs his family farm in Portskewitt and is happily at home behind the wheel of a 4x4, joined the team delivering Community Meals across Monmouthshire.

While Councillor Fox was helping out, Gwent Police were forced to issue a warning to young people in Gilwern after a group were seen playing and even riding bikes on the frozen Mon Brecon Canal

“If you live in Gilwern and have children please make sure they are not playing on the canal,” said CPSO Amanda Yung.
