A WALES-wide search is on to find the country’s most romantic older couple.

Age Cymru is looking for the oldest couple in Wales who celebrated St Dwynwen’s Day or will be celebrating Valentine’s Day this year.

The charity is offering a bouquet of flowers to the winners of its ‘Love in later life’ competition.

The story of Wales’s oldest romantic couple will also appear on Age Cymru’s website, Facebook page and Twitter account.

Says Age Cymru’s Head of Marketing Meryl Randell-Jones:

“Age Cymru wants to celebrate love in later life.

“This is why we’re looking for the oldest romantics in Wales – couples in their eighties, nineties or older, who celebrated St Dwynwen’s Day or will be celebrating St Valentine’s Day this year.

“If you are a romantic older couple; there’s an older romantic couple in your family or perhaps living next door to you, please get in touch.

“Give us yours or their names, ages, locations and perhaps divulge some of the secrets to keeping the romance alive.

“What better way of celebrating love in later life than sharing stories about Wales’ most romantic and loving older couples?”

· Seek permission before entering anyone into the ‘Love in later life’ competition;

· Age Cymru will need a photograph of couples who enter or are entered into the ‘Love in later life’ competition;

· The photographs will be used on promotional material (Social media, web page and traditional media). Seek permission of the persons appearing in the photographs before submitting them to Age Cymru;

· Winners will be notified during the week commencing 15 February 2016;

· The judges’ decision is final and no decisions or correspondence will be entered into;
