THIS year sees the Melville Centre in Abergavenny offering a new daytime entertainment.

On the second Wednesday of the month, you can see a modern classic film, preceded in the Melville café by coffee and cake.

The first film to be screened on January 13 is Breakfast at Tiffany’s, starring Audrey Hepburn and George Peppard and directed by Blake Edwards (of Pink Panther fame).

The film starts at 10.45am and costs £4. Coffee and cake (not included in the price) will be served from 10am onwards.

Future screenings throughout the Melville’s Spring Season include Shakespeare in Love on February 10, Chocolat on March 9 and Pride on April 13. No advance booking is necessary, with tickets sold on the door.
