ABERGAVENNY Chronicle readers are being asked to help trace the family of Shropshire woman Georgina Wheeler.

Mrs Wheeler has written to the Chronicle asking for help in tracing family who may be living locally after learning that her father Jack was born in Abergavenny.

“ I must have relations in the area but I’ve looked online and I can find any of my father’s siblings,” said Mrs Wheeler, who lives in Telford.

“Is there anyone in the Raglan or Abergavenny area who may be related to or has any information about Ned and Nancy Williams who had a son called Jack?” she said.

“Ned’s parents were Matilda and John Williams and Ned had a sister called Beatty who married a Cyril Price. He had other brothers and sisters but can’t remember their names,” she said.
