A CHARITY night in aid of young cancer sufferer, Jacob Jones raised more than £1,000 toward funding a life-saving trip to the USA for vital treatment.
Jacob’s family have launched an appeal to raise £250,000 in order for the two-year-old to travel to the USA for treatment that is is not available in the UK.
The evening was hosted by The King’s Head and Regency 59 Restaurant, Abergavenny where a three-course meal prepared by chef-patron, Krishna Bhandari and a raffle resulted in a cheque for £1,021 being presented to Jacob’s grandmother, Dawn Jones by Mayor of Abergavenny, David Simcock and mayoress, Councillor Penny Simcock.
