KING Henry VIII School Former Pupils’ Association is hoping Chronicle readers will be able to assist in locating a former pupil of the school.

They are acting for a woman called Sarah Khalaf who is searching on behalf of her mother, Iris Khalaf.

Sarah explained, “My mother is hoping that someone can help her find the son of her late brother who was named Rhys Thomas Pritchard.

“The family did not know about this son until fairly recently and we don’t believe Rhys did either.

“We think this child was born after his death. My mother’s other brother, Gwyn Pritchard, recently died and she is keen to make contact with Chris as he is one of the last surviving members of her family on that side.

“We know that his first name is Chris and that Joanne is probably the name of his mother.

“We believe that he would have been born 1979-1980 and have been in the school’s year intake 1990-1991, aged 11.

“We believe that he was brought up in the Abergavenny area.

“Unfortunately all our other approaches to find Chris have not led anywhere.”

If you can help in any way then please contact Iris Khalaf on 07985 522013 or Sarah Khalaf on 07419 989785.
