After a tough year in the hair and beauty industry, an Abergavenny salon is celebrating having taken a top award among its peers. Feodora Hair and Beauty salon is a popular destination for pampering in the town ever since it opened its doors on Nevill Street in November 2000. Senior Stylist Feodora Shearman is overjoyed that her and her staff took the honours at this year’s Welsh Hair and Beauty Awards. The salon also shared the limelight with two other of the town’s stylists. Feodora said: ‘‘I’m super proud to announce that Feodora hair and beauty studio was nominated for finalists for two categories in the awards, team of the year which we won back in 2019 and outstanding beauty salon of the year which we won for this year!’’ Other finalists from Abergavenny were Michelle Hudd for bridal hair who won an award back in 2019. Abergavenny’s Tommy Brooks also won stylist of the year. Feodora’s salon offers a wide range of treatments in both hair and beauty, including facials, massage and nails, whilst staff also attend regular courses to maintain and develop new skills.
