Entertainer Bryn Yemm is organising and hosting a fund-raising Christmas concert at Abergavenny Borough Theatre to raise funds to help the children of Aleppo, Syria, before returning to his ‘other’ home in the USA,

“Each time I watch the news of the conflict in Syria and the plight of the children in battle-torn Aleppo I find myself crying ‘enough is enough’,” said Bryn.

“These children, through no fault of their own, need our help. I am just an entertainer, therefore when I look to see how I can help people in need, a concert is my option to raise money to assist them.

“I have assembled a fantastic range of guest artists to join me in this fund-raising effort.”

Performing at the concert will be Abergavenny’s popular acapella choir Synergy, the award-winning children’s choir NIDUS from Cwmbran (silver medalists at the 2014 World Choir Games in Latvia) and the Combined Local Salvation Army Bands.

Bryn’s wife Ann Yemm will be his special guest.

Tickets for the concert on Friday December 2 cost £12.50 and are available from the Box Office on 01873 850805.

If you can’t make it to the concert you can still donate to the cause via Abergavenny Salvation, Ocean Park, Cardiff CF24 5SA, cheques made payable to Salvation Army or Save the Children Fund, Phoenix House, 8 Cathedral Road, Cardiff CF11 9LJ (please write on back Bryn Yemm Children of Aleppo Appeal).

“Things are desperate over there. Please help if you can. Let Wales show the world we care,” said Bryn.
