Take a look at this pic. Is it a bird, is it a plane, is it a UFO? Nope! It’s a B-2 Spirit Stealth Bomber.
Now usually if you see one of these bad boys coming to a town near you, it’s advisable to run and run fast.
The B-2 is one of America’s most expensive and feared aircraft. If the Cold War ever turned hot the B-2 would have been used to transport nuclear bombs into the Soviet heartland. Its stealth systems made it invisible to Russian radars.
Thankfully, it never came to that but the B-2 has still been used as a conventional bomber in war zones such as Afghanistan and Iraq.
It was in the UK recently alongside a host of other jets as part of the Fairford Airshow.
And all were duly snapped for posterity by the man with the big lens - Tim Evans.
The Chronicle photographer loves planes so much we call him ‘Maverick’ after Tom Cruise’s character in Top Gun.
The saucy snapper was in his oils earlier this month at what is often billed “the world’s greatest airshow.”
This year was also the centenary of the Royal Air Force and to mark the occasion. 302 aircraft from 30 nations were in attendance.
A total of 121 took part in the flying display which included a Battle of Britain memorial flight. Tim captured a fair few of them in all their arial glory, so take a butchers.
As Mav might say, “This is Ghost Rider requesting a flyby.”
