ABERGAVENNY Town Council ‘is delighted’ to be entering into a three year partnership with Abergavenny Local Citizens Advice (LCA) to ensure that help and advice continues to be available in Abergavenny.
Citizens Advice offer a free confidential and impartial advice on all sorts of issues such as money, benefit, housing or employment problems.
Signing of the agreement by Mayor of Abergavenny Cllr Tony Konieczny and Shirley Lightbound, Chief Executive Officer of Monmouthshire County Citizens Advice took place in the Abergavenny Citizens Advice offices in Cross Street, Abergavenny.
The Mayor of Abergavenny, Tony Konieczny stated that, “On behalf of Abergavenny Town Council, I am delighted to be signing this agreement with the Abergavenny Citizens Advice. Having access to free, impartial and confidential advice is extremely important particularly with the rollout of Universal Credit and associated problems with the receipt of benefit. It is reassuring to know that this free service is available to all, young and old.”
