AN Abergavenny man has been named as one of two men killed in an aircraft collision in Tregare, Raglan on Sunday.

Martin Bishop, 61, was from Bryn y Gwenin. A family statement issued today said, ‘‘Martin Bishop was a loving son, brother, husband and uncle who was well-loved by his family and friends.

‘He was an active member of adventure sports, he loved his job as the National Manager for Wales at Confor and he was an active member of the community.

‘Martin died doing something he loved and will be sorely missed by all.’

The second man killed in the accident was Roderick Weaver, 68, from Cardiff.
