Celebrating a decade paying tribute to the King of Rock 'n' Roll, Keith Davies, the Elvis of Abergavenny, will mark the anniversary of Elvis and the Mafia with a flashback concert in the same venue where they first performed, exactly 10 years to the day

Keith, who is a well known local businessman, will belt out more than 25 of the King's song at Llanvapley Pavilion on Friday October 4, with tickets on sale for £5 and all proceeds going to Llanvapley Sports and Social Association and Cardiff-based Noah's Ark Children's Charity.

Through their 67-plus shows so far they have raised a staggering £200,000 for various charities.

Elvis and the Mafia have not only had huge success locally, they have also performed in France several times, and have their own following when they are out there.

Keith said, "I didn't think when we first started that we would have the success we had, I just thought it would be a one off, and now we've progressed from village halls to selling out theatres."

They already have another performance in the pipeline for December 7, their Elvis Christmas Special at the Borough Theatre, as well as a range of concerts booked both here and in France, and Keith expressed his gratitude to all of his supporters and his band.

Keith said, "I pay lots of respect to the Mafia guys who are always there with me for the shows, The Sweets, and my parents and uncle and aunty who never fail to show up.

"My partner Ceri is a great help and supports me in all that I am doing, and without the people of Abergavenny and their support there would be no Elvis and The Mafia, so I would like to thank everybody who has seen us and continues to support us."

Tickets for their December show are available from the Borough Theatre Box Office.
