Costain has published a reminder that work on Section Two of the Heads of the Valleys road project will continue this weekend.
This means the A465 road will be closed between Brynmawr and Gilwern (July 24-27).
The recommended diversion from both ends of the closure can be seen by visiting www.a465.info/diversion
The weekend road closure is required to undertake work that cannot be safely completed whilst the road is open or under traffic management.
This will include, but is not restricted to, the removal of temporary central barriers, drainage works, piling works, white lining, road surfacing and parapet works along with steel erection works to Pont Harri footbridge using a crane that will be positioned within the carriageway.
Other work on section two of the Heads of the Valleys project will also be undertaken right throughout the project to maximise the full use of the road closure.
Costain apologises for any inconvenience this may cause.
They will be providing a minibus service to replace the Stagecoach Service 3 on Saturday. The minibus timetable will be operating as normal, however there will be significantly reduced seating capacity.
In line with Welsh Government guidance it is advised that a suitable face covering should be worn. This will be a condition of travel on the minibus.UPDATE: Costain now say the road will be open from 6pm on Sunday, July 26
