The A465 Heads of the Valleys Road will be completely closed from 8.30pm tonight (Friday, July 28) to 6am on Monday, July 31 for essential work to be carried out as part of the Section Two dualling.

While there are no local alternatives, the recommended diversion from both ends of the closure involves using the circuitous route taking in the Western Valley, Hafodyrynys Road through Pontypool and up the A4042 to Abergavenny.

The cross-over point for Clydach South and North will be available with modifications.

A minibus service will be provided on Saturday, July 29th to replace the Stagecoach Service 3.
