The A465 Heads of the Valley between Brynmawr and Glanbaiden will be closed to traffic from 10pm on Friday March 4 until 6am on Monday March 7 as part of the on-going road widening project.

The closure is mainly required for rock excavation but it will also enable the workforce to undertake a number of vital construction activities.

During the course of the closure full access will be maintained through the site for emergency services vehicles, which will be escorted by Costains traffic management team. The company also intends to maintain controlled access during the closure at the Saleyard and Gilwern junctions.
