Night closures start on the A465 Heads of the Valleys road on September 1 to 3 to support the installation of a temporary bridge at the Brynmawr end of the scheme.

Costains say the work can only be safely undertaken within a full closure which will commence at 8pm each night and reopen before 6am.

During the course of the closures full access will be maintained through the site for emergency services vehicles which will be escorted by the traffic management team.

There will also be controlled access across the closure at the Saleyard and Gilwern junctions.
