The Mayor’s Gala Buffet held over the weekend raised thousands in aid of Abergavenny’s Citizens Advice Bureau.

The Mayor said, "The event was a great success, with almost 100 guests attending, and raised a sum approaching £2000. The superb food, music by Deb Hancock and  Gareth Hall and an Auction and Raffle of gifts and promises donated by the extraordinarily generous traders and townspeople made it a real night to remember.

“A splendid effort by everyone concerned! My next charity event is a show by the ever-popular Elvis of Abergavenny, Keith Davies, at the Borough Theatre on Friday April 27, also in aid of Abergavenny Citizens Advice. Don’t miss it!"
