A FIFTY-three-year-old Abergavenny man has appeared at Newport Magistrates’ Court on Friday charged with the murder of Georgina Symonds.

Peter David Morgan, of Llanellen Court Farm, Llanellen near Abergavenny, spoke only to confirm his name and date of birth.

Morgan is charged with the murder of Georgina Symonds on January 12.

Morgan made a second court appearance on Monday by video link at Cardiff Crown Court where he was further remanded in custody until April 26. He did not enter a plea, speaking only to confirm his name
