Five cars were seized and three arrests made after a police operation in Abergavenny town centre on Saturday.
Crews from across Gwent joined forces to tackle motorists driving illegally.
As well as the vehicles seized, one driver was arrested for getting behind the wheel whilst disqualified and having no insurance, one for dangerous driving, no insurance and driving whilst disqualified and a third for drug driving and having no insurance.
Two drivers were also reported for having no insurance and no driving licence and a motorcyclist on the A40 was issued with a warning.
Local Inspector Arwel Hicks said, “These results prove there are many out there who continue to flout the laws and we will continue to work hard to bring justice upon offenders and make our roads safer.
“Further operations are now scheduled to take place over the forthcoming months to ensure the message is getting out there – we will not tolerate anti-social/illegal drivers on our roads.
“Officers will continue to tackle these sorts of issues in order to address the community’s concerns but if there is anyone with any information on motorists driving in an anti-social manner, please contact us on 101.”
