A MAN has been left with serious injuries after a collision on the A40 near Raglan.

The collision, which involved a pedestrian and a blue Ford Fiesta, happened on the northbound carriageway of the road adjacent to Raglan services at approximately 10.50am on Sunday, May 14.

Crews from the Welsh Ambulance Service and Air Ambulance attended the scene and took the man to Bristol Royal Infirmary where he is still being treated.

Gwent Police has appealed for witnesses to the collision to come forward and help their investigation.

"Officers investigating the circumstances of this incident and are appealing for anyone who may been passing the location, witnessed the collision or have dashcam footage to contact Gwent Police on 101 quoting log 167 14/05/2017," said a police spokesman.
