Thieves stole two bikes from a shed on Cross Street, last week, police have said.

A blue Giant Talon bike and a black Claud Butler Urban, with a combined value of £1,000, were taken over the night of Monday July 3, it is believed.

A police spokeswoman, said, “At 3.30pm on Tuesday 4th July we received a report that two bikes were stolen from a shed on Cross Street in Abergavenny.  It is believed the theft happened over night.”
