ABERGAVENNY Town Girls Under 12s remain on top of the SWWGL league after victories against Villa Dino and Coed Eva.

Aber cruised to a 4-0 victory against Villa Dino courtesy of a goal from Ruby Gould and a hat-trick for Macey McCann.

Coed Eva were a much tougher proposition and the girls did well to grind out a hard-fought 1-0 win, with McCann netting the winner.

On a larger pitch than normal the midfield trio of Chelleter Graham-Sawyers, Mia Sherrard and Sophie Engel were excellent in their tireless work.

Again the back three of Bella Wilce, Brooke Davies and Cristyn Powell looked solid and were rewarded with another two clean sheets.

Goalkeeper Katie Barker was called into action on a few occasions, but comfortably dealt with the danger.

Striker Macey McCann was a constant threat up front, supported brilliantly by wide players Ruby Gould and Carys Pond.
